Couples therapy in Berlin Bötzowviertel - rediscover closeness and space

Do you often clash in your relationship because you fundamentally feel unseen or uncared for?
Do you often feel frustrated or desperate because you can no longer reach your partner? Do you react by withdrawing or distancing yourself from your partner? Or do you become intrusive and angry in an attempt to get your partner to open up to you again?

Conflicts and distance often arise from a deep need for closeness and security. In my practice in Berlin's Prenzlauer Berg district, I support you in recognizing these patterns, expressing underlying fears and needs, and rebuilding genuine connection through mutual recognition and understanding.

My approach is based on an understanding of attachment theory and emotion-focused therapy, which helps couples worldwide find their way back to each other. It's not just about improving communication—it's about feeling truly seen and understood, and receiving effective support in this process.

If you find yourself entangled in recurring, exhausting arguments, do yourself a favor and seek professional support.

If they notice that they feel powerless and that conflicts seem to take on a life of their own as if in automatic mode, and they cannot find their way out of the patterns on their own, that is not extraterrestrial.

Sometimes it is simply healing to accept a sensitive and supportive framework, such as the one we offer in Gestalt couples counseling and couples therapy…

“There is a space between stimulus and response.
In this room lies our

Power

for election
our reaction. In our answer lies our

Growth and our freedom .”

Victor Frankel

In the rain

In the rain below cold and far

two shadows reflect each other in two

Separate paths silent and grey

Then no longer man and woman!?

An umbrella that covers both!

A roof of proximity, open and light

Where drops fell, now more light

The distance faded, cold not yet

But behind this bad dream

remembers further, silent space

Not every storm separates what exists

Even if the storm blows away the umbrella...
